Manassas, VA, May 22, 2024 - Ironwave Technologies LLC, www.iwtllc.com, a leading provider of RF and Microwave solutions, announced the addition of LieutenantGeneral David Bassett (Ret.) to its advisory board.

 

General Bassett served over 35 years in the US Army, retiring as the Director of the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) where he led a team of more than11,000 military and civilian employees responsible for the management anda dministration of over 250,000 contracts with a total value of over 3.5trillion dollars.  He also served as the Army Program Executive Officer,Ground Combat Systems (PEO GCS), Program Executive Officer, Command ControlCommunications Tactical (PEO C3T), and the Deputy Program Executive Officer forCombat Support and Combat Service Support (PEO CS&CSS). He is the Founder of Acquisition Insight LLC, an advisory firm focused on companies that support national Defense, and serves as a Senior Counselor with the CohenGroup in Washington DC.

 

General Bassett graduated from the University of Virginia with a Masters Degree in Computer Science and aBachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering and also holds a Masters Degrees inNational Resource Strategy from the Industrial College of the ArmedForces.
